Not at all! The welding process is quick, safe, and completely painless. The spark never touches your skin.

We offer bracelets, anklets, necklaces, and hand chains in a variety of chains and styles. Charms and connectors may also be available depending on the event or collection.

Stone Kaye & Co primarily offers high-quality gold-filled and sterling silver chains selected for durability, beauty, and everyday wear.

Gold-filled jewelry contains a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal. It is much more durable and long-lasting than gold-plated jewelry and is great for everyday wear.

Yes! If needed, you can cut it off with scissors at the jump ring. We can usually reweld it later if you save the chain.

We offer complimentary rewelds within a certain timeframe for normal wear. Damage caused by snagging, stretching, or improper care may require a repair fee.

We stand behind our craftsmanship and welding. Normal wear, accidental damage, stretching, chemical exposure, lost jewelry, or chains altered outside of Stone Kaye & Co are not covered under warranty, but many repairs can still be fixed for a small fee.

Nope! Permanent jewelry is TSA-friendly and safe for everyday activities including travel.

Yes! Your jewelry is designed for everyday wear. We recommend avoiding harsh chemicals, chlorine, and excessive exposure to lotions or perfumes to help preserve shine and longevity.

Yes! Stone Kaye & Co offers permanent jewelry parties for birthdays, girls nights, bridal events, boutiques, corporate events, and more.

Yes, with parental supervision and approval. We recommend children be old enough to understand how to properly care for the jewelry.

Most appointments take about 10–15 minutes per person depending on chain selection and customization.

You may be asked to remove your jewelry for certain medical procedures like MRIs. Simply cut it at the jump ring and we can often reweld it later.

It’s meant to be long-lasting, but not impossible to remove. Think of it as everyday jewelry designed to stay on until you decide otherwise.

Yes! We travel for pop-ups, private events, boutiques, weddings, and collaborations throughout Iowa and surrounding areas.

Because each piece is custom fit and welded specifically for you, all permanent jewelry sales are final. Chain selections can be changed before the chain has been cut.
